HealthyCloud participatd in the “I2K 2022 | From Images to Knowledge – 2022” was a virtual event held on May 6th, 9th, and 10th, focusing on the quantitative analysis of microscopy images in life-sciences.
The event featured talks and interactive workshops on state-of-the-art open-source solutions for biological image reconstruction and analysis. It provided a platform for developers, researchers, and students to discuss strategies for handling the increasing amount of large and content-rich microscopy imagery. A notable presentation was the “European Population Imaging Infrastructure (EPI2)” by Stefan Klein, part of the Healthycloud European research project. The video presentation titled “Accessing Image Data Analysis Services” was part of the pre-sessions workshops on May 10th. The workshop showcased Euro-BioImaging’s Image Data Analysis services, where users could bring their own data and request analysis services by experts at various facilities.
The I2K 2022 event was a great opportunity to learn about the best software tools for research and how to get involved in their development. The program consisted of scheduled talks, Q&As for pre-recorded workshops, and live workshops. The event was organized by a committee of experts from various institutions, including the University of Edinburgh, Broad Institute of MIT, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and more. For more detailed information, you can visit the I2K 2022 website or watch the video presentation by Stefan Klein.
