Event Overview
The fourth and final stakeholder workshop for HealthyCloud was held in Brussels on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the Consejo Superior De Investigaciones Cientificas (CISC). The representatives from more than 20 organizations discussed the proposed services and drafted strategic agenda for the Health Research Innovation Cloud (HRIC). Delegates at the meeting included European Commission representatives, European Science Cloud officials, European Research Infrastructure leaders, research-performing organisation representatives, and leaders of the five proposed services of the Health Research and Innovation Cloud.
The objectives
- Review the draft strategic agenda for the HRIC;
- Outline the proposed services for the HRIC with key stakeholders;
- Discuss how the proposed services of the HRIC can coordinate with EOSC, and the wider landscape, and how this can be sustained both in terms of governance and funding support mechanism(s);
- Define timeline and actors for ensuring outcomes from the discussions at this workshop are reflected in the strategic agenda of the HRIC.
Stakeholder workshop outcome
This in-person meeting provided a forum to discuss the proposed five services of the Health Research and Innovation Cloud with a focus on service implementation, coordination with other services, governance, and sustainability. The discussions held and feedback on the draft Strategic Agenda of the Health Research and Innovation Cloud will now be distilled and crystalised into the final delivery of the Strategic Agenda at the end of the HealthyCloud project.
